We always recycle as much material as possible when we undertake our demolitions, making sure we leave your site clean and we won’t leave behind a mess when we’re done.

Residential Demolition
At Civil and Demo we can undertake both partial and full demolitions. We are fully licensed for demolitions and recommend that you check the Government of Western Australia Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety who publish a list of licensed demolition contractors and asbestos licences.
At Civil and Demo we have a team of fully qualified demolition personnel to assist you with your house extension, renovation or subdivision.
Our team can provide you with a quote to carry out a variety of demolition projects.
Most commonly we remove the roof, walls (both internal and external), asbestos (roof, walls, sleep outs), garages, swimming pools, fences, lean-tos, swimming pools and carry out full back yard clearances for subdivision purposes.
We can also arrange for crossovers to be removed and kerb/footpaths to be restored to comply with council requirements.
A full demolition is where all structures on site are removed. Demolition companies quotes typically include an amount to demolish the house and an amount to rake the block. Raking, or the sieving of the block, is the time consuming part of the demolition where the machine removes all material that does not fall through the 750mm rake bucket.
Raking is an important part of the demolition as it prepares the site for the building component. Civil and Demo rake to 750mm. Many companies can offer a more economical quote by raking to less than 750mm and it is important to check with your builder what they require.
We also quote for fire damaged properties, these require a site visit as we need to assess how the structure has been affected by the fire and much burned material there is at site to be removed.
Our quotes are fully comprehensive and include the application for a demolition permit, cut and seal to isolate the sewer and rat baiting which are all necessary to apply for a demolition permit. We exclude ATCO/Synergy fees as we honour our demolition quotes.
There are two prices when it comes to full demolition. One for removing the house and one for raking and sieving the block. We finish our jobs with clear raked blocks to natural levels.
